Alero Adamu After Bagging Chieftaincy Title
The Governor of Zamfara State; Governor Matawalle Bello has suspended the said Emir of Yandoto Alhaji Garba Marafa, for conferring a traditional title to Alero who was a well know bandit kingpin.
The suspension was announced by the Secretary to the State Government – Kabiru Sardauna, in a statement on Sunday July 17.
The suspension came after the photos of the ceremony of Alero went viral yesterday which had generated different reactions from Nigerians.

It was gathered also that; the Governor has appointed a committee to investigate the circumstances leading to the action of the Emir.
Alhaji Mahe Garba Marafa, the District Head of Yandoto, has been directed to take charge of the affairs of the Emirate.
