Gurugram Police have arrested a Nigerian national for allegedly possessing MDMA in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

The arrest took place following a tip-off, leading to the detention of the accused, identified as Melvin Dickson.

On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the police issued a statement confirming Dickson’s arrest. He was found with 12 grams of methylenedioxyphenethylamine (MDMA), a substance commonly known as Ecstasy or Molly. 

This illegal drug is known for its psychoactive effects and is often used recreationally.

Dickson, who resides in the Devli area of South Delhi, was apprehended in Sector 47, Gurugram. The police acted swiftly upon receiving the tip-off, ensuring that Dickson was taken into custody and the illegal substance was confiscated.
