‘They said I couldn’t buy Twitter…’– Elon Musk shares a meme on his Twitter handle mocking Twitter. 

The meme was a reaction to the news of Twitter hiring a law firm to sue him for pulling out of a $44 bn takeover deal.

It can be recalled that Elon Musk had offered to buy Twitter for $44 billion. But the fate of the deal began to be uncertain in recent weeks after Musk threatened to pull out, citing concerns over records of fake accounts which the social media company had failed to provide.

So, Twitter responded by saying it would ‘pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement.’

Then the SpaceX CEO  tweeted four images of him laughing next to captions that read:

Then they wouldn’t disclose bot information. 

Now they want to force me to buy Twitter in court. 

Now they have to disclose bot information in court.

Also, he tweeted again a picture of actor Chuck Norris playing chess with only a single pawn on his side of the board, and a complete set of pieces on the other side, with Musk tweeting,

Twitter is hiring a US-based law firm Watchell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz LLP in a bid to sue Musk and force him to complete the $44 billion acquisition deal of the company.
