CEO of Blord Group in Police Net Over Alleged Fraud & Regulatory Violations

Following the recent rumors about the arrest of Linus Williams the Chairman Executive Officer of Blord Group, the Nigerian police confirms the arrest today July, 16.

The Nigerian Police Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, announced on Twitter the ongoing interrogation of Linus Williams, CEO of Blord Group of Companies, over allegations of fraud and regulatory violations.

The Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) is investigating complaints against Blord Group, Blord Real Estate Ltd, Blord Jetpaye Limited, and Billpoint Technology. 

The charges include cryptocurrency fraud, aiding internet fraud, computer-related fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.

ACP Adejobi emphasized the police’s commitment to thorough investigations, aiming to ensure a safe and secure cyber space in Nigeria. 

We will do due diligence in our investigations. Our cyber space in Nigeria must be safe and secured by all means. We are committed to achieving that,” he stated.

Further updates on the investigation are anticipated as the police continue their efforts to uphold cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
