Lagos State Seals Cubana Chief Priest’s Restaurant Over Violations

• September 17, 2024

The Lagos State Government has sealed Donald’s, a restaurant located in the Lekki area, owned by popular socialite and Instagram personality Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest.

This action was confirmed by the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, through a post on his X account on Sunday.

The restaurant was reportedly shut down due to repeated environmental violations, including noise pollution.

Wahab explained that the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) had previously issued several warnings and notices to the establishment. Despite these warnings, the restaurant failed to comply with the state’s environmental regulations.

After numerous warnings and abatement notices, LASEPA sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1, for noise pollution and other environmental infractions,” Wahab posted on X.

This closure highlights the government’s commitment to enforcing environmental laws and maintaining peace in residential areas of Lagos.
